How Should I Prepare and What Can I Expect?!
Here are some answers to frequently asked questions:
Q: How long does the hair need to be?
A: About 1/4 inch. Let the hair grow for 10 days before getting waxed
Q: Do I need to trim?
A: No. I take care of everything.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Yes. There is no way around some pain when being waxed. However I am extremely fast and experienced which helps A LOT! Some of my clients take Ibuprofen before they come and I also use numbing spray to help with the pain.
Q: Is your equipment clean?
A: YES!! I follow all the state laws and regulations where cleanliness and sanitation is concerned almost to a fault. I use a new stick each time I dip into my wax ensuring that my wax remains sterile. Most waxing salons do not follow this procedure. I also use professional grade cleansers to clean my equipment after each client.
Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes. I am a licensed master esthetician in the state of Utah and have been for the past 10 years. I have higher certifications in both waxing and make up artistry.
